windows nt 4.0 mastercam 9.1

mastercam 9.1 will not run on my windows nt 4.0 system. i get access exception on start up from dr. watson. i have applied patch from website, but to no avail. any input would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Don't know what to tell you. I've been running Version 9.1 since Beta 1 with NT 4.0 SP6 and the only issue I've had was the MSVCRT.dll issue which there is a patch for. Go to the Patches section to find it, buit this did not limit my ability to run Mastercam, only certain other applications.

 

More than likely it is Video related (isn't it usually ). I would get the latest drivers for your video card, and try to reinstall Mastercam.

If that does not work, try turning down the Video Acceleration in your Display properties if your card has that feature.

Did you install Mastercam using an account with administrative privileges?

I am only running sp5, with an elsa graphics card

wich is my top suspect. thanks for the feedback though.
