G-Code for a 4th Axis

Recommended Posts

For fabric, glass, and paper cutter the tip of the cutter (knife) not only follows the path according to the pre specified path, but also

an 4th axis is used to rotate the knife in the tangential direction of the curve. My questions is: is it possible to generate a G-code with

Mastercam so that a MACH3 CAM program can perform this movement?

Probably if you check this page: autometrix.com you will have a better idea of what I am talking about.

Any help in this direction will be appreciated.
