4-axis face milling

I want to face mill a 22.0" diameter on a DMU70 with 840D control. Not enough travel in Y to reach. Using 'Rotary Axis Control', 3axis and rotate about Z axis. Posting out Y and C moves and machine rotates C to the start position and then mills in X&Y and overtravel in Y alarms. Backplot shows part rotating. According to the HELP page I should be getting C moves in place of the Y moves. I am wondering if I am doing something wrong or the POST is incorrect.

Typically, you can't get the C to rotate in that way.

Mastercam sees an XYZ solution, as those are the main axis', it will always solve in the main before using the secondary axis.

The post builder may be able to build you a routine that will give you what you're asking for but AFAIK, there is no way to force it in a case as this.
