Mazak QT25-U Ball Screw

Hi,

 

The X axis ball screw is hosed on our ancient Mazak and the price for replacing it is about a grand less than we paid for the machine, no stock either. Any one have one in their closet? How about an entire machine sitting in their garage they might sell?

 

Realistically, is there a Mazak bone yard that anyone knows of where you can find parts?

In a way I'm hoping that is the decision I make, but I have to try something first. This machine has paid for itself so many times it would be like giving up a family member.
