Strange Comments Box Error

I need some help on a strange error found during programming an drilling and reaming operation with the Comment box. I normally program the spot drill and copy the cut and change the spot to a drill then copy the drill and change the drill to a reamer. I will update the Comments and depths for each. The comments for each operation consist of the tool name and I also describe the hole size and the depth of each tool. Example spot = Z-.068 Drill = Z-.285 reamer = Z-.25.

When done programming a long program I noticed in the comments box comments from all three operations with parentheses through the comments, these parentheses turned some of the comments into active G-Code in the machine, NOT GOOD. I know I didn’t type any parentheses or all the different Z values in the same comment box. I cannot explain how this happened, has this happen to anyone. Below are a couple of corrupt comments from a box

SPOT (.120 Z-.25)(.126 +-.0005 Z-.08) B0 Z-.068 MARKED G

DRILL (.120 Z-.25)(.126 +-.0005 Z-.08 ) B0 Z-.285 MARKED G

Thanks Alex
