I believe if you look for prpm and pcss and change the statements to end like this:

 

, *spindle_l, "P1", e

 

It should give you what you want

Edit- This is, of course, assuming that you have a Fanuc-like post, if not the wording might be different but same idea

Chris it worked very perfectly thank you.

 

Its a live tool lathe and the P1 needs to be there for the main spindle. I need a P3 at the end of a live tool spindle callout though.

M53S1500P3

 

i tried doing the samething with spindle_m just assuming that meant mill spindle. It did'nt post it out

That's funny, I just did the "P3" after *spindle_m in the prpm routine and I got this:

 

N25 G00 X2. Z.25

N30 C0.

N35 G97 S3500 M54 P3

N40 G81 Z-.1 R.1 F2.74

N45 C45.

N50 C90.

N55 C135.

N60 C180.

N65 C225.

N70 C270.

N75 C315.

N80 G80

 

I don't know why I'm getting M54 vs M53 but that's not really what you're looking for...
