Hi all,

what would be the taper angle that i would enter in in the taper angle field to thread cut a bspt thread?

I think its 1.4 deg or so but do i have to halve that to get the angle per side?

Im using a seco thread cutting tool..

What sort of feeds and speeds do you guys use for 316 stainless?

Thanks

The angle is 1.7882 deg / side. I would start at maybe 200 sfm x .003
