  1. Hi All, i might be dreaming but i thought you could have say a round dia representing your stock and an inner shape of say a square and mastercam would start with the outside shape and gradually machine round and round till it gets to the inner square shape all the while keeping the tool in contact with the workpiece.. Regards

  7. Hi All, im trying to get to the bottom of whats going on with the converwsational program Navimill on our Mitsubishi Controller.. Its only been 10 years of on and off trying to work out whats going on.. In this sample program it should be drilling 4 holes on a 100 pcd around xy0. Ive tryed running it but it says program not found .. i believe its for some reason maybe calling a sub program #9110 and its not even in my machines memory.. I assume its the same for prog #9120 im not even sure if its in the right format to run as is or what. Any thoughts would be fantastic! 11. Hi All, i know about creating a Silhoette boundary fo give a flat boundary of a 3d or 25 part but is it possible to do the same but with a round cylinder bore sleeve that has the pockets machined thru? There are pockets machined thru for intake and exhaust ports.. Some have an external angled face while others have an angle cutting back in underneath.. It would be handy to create the silhoette boundary back towards the center of my part at a certain diameter and then unrolling it to machine.. Thanks
