Dusan-Puma drilling cycle

Hi ,

Anybody can give me some examples of standart drilling cycles for Dusan -Puma 240 with Fanuc 21i control ?

I am trying to find this information in books, but looks like it missing or we don't have this book ( we got used machine).

I am trying to adopt post .

Here's a basic cycle:

 

N1100 T1111 ( 1.625 INSERTED DRILL )

G99

G97 S1000 M03

G0 X0. Z.1 M8

G83 Z-2.25 R0. Q60 F.003

G0 G80

G0 X8. Z10.

G30 U0

The key to the canned drilling on Doosan/Fanuc Lathes is not to be confused by the R-value.

It is NOT the same as the R-Plane on a mill.

The R-Value is the incremental distance from the existing location to the retract point for the cycle.

In the above example the R0. indicates that the tool is already at the retract point.

 

The Q-Peck Value does not use a decimal point so your value is the least decimal precision. Q625 = 0.0625 Peck

When using C-Axis positions in any subsequent points, the Q-Peck Value must be specified for each additional point.

M89 is the C-Axis brake so that should also be placed on each point as well as the actual canned cycle call.

M90 cancels the brake and can be included with a G80 to cancel the cycle.

 

I'll dig out the programming manual and post it to the FTP site.
