yep ive done it 3x, compared to other belt driven spindles id say this is about easy-medium difficulty

the spindle position encoder its very expensive and VERY easy to damage, you will see it around the mid section of the spindle

i usually take it off first and disconnect it and put it somewhere safe

also when you put it back on indicate the ring to check its .001 or less, i forget the air gap spacing ill check my notes tomorrow

the set screws that hold the tsc coolant tube to the spindle cartridge are a pain to get out so be careful not to strip the hex, also replace the orings on the nipple that tube slides on or the tsc will leak, and when u put the tube back in try to evenly tighten the screws and indicate the tube to about .002 or less or it may cause vibration in the upper rpm which will also wear out the bearing in the unclamp clyinder

make sure u clean the sheaves and the belt of oil or it may slip at low rpm

if u need any help with any specifics ill be glad to answer

This is the second one for this machine. I had tech service guy from Hartwig take care of it last time.
