SODICK CUTTING CONDITIONS

Recommended Posts

I'm trying to cut a welded die land on a sodick aq535l the material is A-2 r/c 58-60 keeps on wanting to break wire. I've cut the on time down slowed the feed down still wanting to break. Just wonder if any body else has any info on how to modify the cutting conditions.

Thanks in advance

Unless the weld is very clean it will give you fits. Do what you are doing with your on time and bump your off time up. It will be slow but better than fighting the breaks. Also raise your sv and lower your flushing some.

thanks that's what i did and it worked all it takes is a few pin holes in that weld to drive you crazy. Seems like mits wires with power master are easier to use cutting weld just my opinion.

Glad you got through it.
