MILL.SET - Operation Coolant Status

I'm having trouble extracting the coolant status of an operation using the default supplied MILL.SET file in X6.

 

I tried outputting 'coolant$', and it always displays a value of '0'.

I tried outputting 'tl_coolant', (from the 20004' tool parameters) and it always displays a value of '8'.

 

Even if I turn the coolant off in the Tool coolant setting and/or the Operation coolant setting, Im still returning the same values.

 

What Im wanting to do here is to check if any operations got posted without coolant (or with coolant if magnesium!)

 

Please keep me from catching fire. Can you show me what Im missing here ?
