What machining strategy to use?

Hi guys,

 

I need to cut an undercut area on a part I am making. I cant get any toolpaths to work to go all the way down the undercut area. I have a 16mm lollipop cutter with a 6mm shank. I dont have multi axis. Its just a 3 axis machine.Was just wondering if anyone out there has done something similar and got it to work? I have attached a pic to show exactly what I want to do. Thanks in adavnce for any help....... =)

I moved this to the main Industrial forum as it's a Mastercam usage/question issue

 

Looking to do this is what I imagine, I've attached a sample that should hopefully lay it out

 

I also placed it on the FTP in the X4 folder X4 UNDERCUT SAMPLE.MCX

2D swept, I'd recommend drawing in your leadin/leadout diameter and you'll be good to go.

Thanks for the replies guys. i used Surface Finish Contour and got it to work how I wanted.
