It's easy to throw the end user under the bus, as the problem is not mastercam. but it also may not be his/her fault, doing the best they know how and not getting good results does not mean software or the end user is bad. Just some training is in order. And if the trainer isn't real familiar with the type of work you are doing maybe some consulting from someone who is. A .2mm endmill is delicate, so should be the approach to material removal.

Often this can be an issue with a machine / post.

 

ie: Some machines come with a cam system set up specifically for that machine. The post-processor might use certain options that are enabled on the machine specifically. ie: Someone might program at a certain feedrate but the post throttles it down no matter what, etc. corner acceleration etc.

 

the end result is the user knows when they program in mastercam bad part comes out, program in other cam, good part comes out.
