Peck Tap?

Hello,

 

For some reason my Mpmaster post will only post a peck tap with my G84.. Is there a setting in the control or machine file that sets this in the pull down menu? Or is it a post thing?

I noticed when I changed to a generic VMC post the pull down menu had the correct tap without peck... Why does the MPmaster not have this?

Remove the peck value in the OP, the peck value will cease to output

 

You probably have a value from a peck drill left in the, remove that, you're set

Thanks that was it.. feel like a idiot now...

Our post never ever output a Q value. We modified it so it does, even if we don't want to peck, the output will still be a Q0.

Then at the machine, if the mtl is a problem, all we have to do is add a value to the Q and it pecks.

newbee the coding on yours is not as clean as it could be.

 

It can be set so the if the value is zero, nothing gets output, if you look in the mpmaster, you can see how it's done in the ptap section
