Help with MX7 modify solid features

Hello,

I just install the new MX7 today.

One of the new things in solid design, is the ability to import any solid model without a history and make changes. By using the modify solid feature , modify fillets & remove solid fillets.

 

I have imported models created in solidworks from step files. Then tried to use these features to make changes and does not seem to work.

 

Here is the errors warning: parasolid ® kernel interface error pk error code:5137-failed to blend.

 

I know creating solids within mastercam and having the history all changes are possible.

 

I did not purchased the mastercam for solidworks add on.

I can only assume that since the model was not created in Mastercam (not native) that these features will not work.

 

Try drawing a sloid in Mastercam and modify it.
