cycle timer macro

I need some help with tracking tact time in our machines. I'd like to use the dprnt function to store the total cycle time part after part. both Fanuc and Mazak matrix controls.

Does anyone want to share a macro program that does this?

I don't have a specific macro but you can do something really quickly on your own.

Take a look at Fanuc system parameters #6755, 6756, #6757, #6758.

They will have what you're looking for.

this is a sample Robk sent me a wile back for the Matrix control. I could never get the dprnt function to work correctly

Opening the port, outputting via DPRNT and closing the port MUST come before an M30.

M30 invokes a Reset and, depending upon other parameter settings, will clear certain system variables.

 

Your best bet is to get it working on a Fanuc first and then modify for Mazak.

Try using the variables I gave you.
