Converting tool libraries to X7 from X6

Greetings.

 

I have been trying to convert custom tool files (libraries, data bases) that I have, from my version of X6 to X7, each time X7 changes ALL tools in ALL libraries to Carbide, no matter how I try to get this accomplished. Any ideas on how to prevent this change from happening? My biggest problem is all my drills have custom names as opposed to the typical fractional, etc. names that are in Mastercam, so whenever I use the calc. feeds and speeds from tool settings it is now way out for my HSS drills. This is quite a big deal, and any help would be appreciated.
