Search is a good friend on this forum, but since people get mad because I say such things here is the answer as well.

 

Settings/Configuration at the bottom you will see current. Switch that from English to Metric. When it ask you to Scale Current part you are done. If you set your configuration to Metric it will always open in Metric. You can do that in Start / Exit on the Settings/Configurations. Most times the system will know something was in inch being brought into the Metric and ask do you want to scale the part. If not the xfrom scale gives you the ability to scale anything you need to the correct size for what ever units you are working in.
