Lathe planes question

Hey Guys,

I have a file that was created in Lathe Lower Left [TOP] and I want to change the T plane to D- Z+ but I can't seem to get it to change.

 

When I go into the Coordinates menu and change it, nothing happens it always reverts back to T plane Lathe Lower Left [TOP].

 

I'm probably missing something simple here.

 

The turret on the machine is in the front and it needs a X+ value for code if it has X- it goes to the back side of the part.

 

I was hoping to change from D+ Z+ to D- Z+ and see if I get the values to flip.

 

Any ideas?

Greg, If you just want to change your X values, try changing your axis combination. If you used left, lower.. try changing it to left upper, that should flip your x values..

I used D- Z+ and it worked, it switched my x value from negative to positive

 

BUT.....

 

I had to create a new file from scratch and start with these settings.

I haven't been able to switch the coordinates with any success like I would if I was using the mill.
