CONVERTING TOOL LIBRARY X6 TO X7

WAS ANYONE OUT THERE TRYING TO GET THEIR TOOL LIBRARY FROM ONE MASTERCAM VERSION TO CONVERT TO ANOTHER VERSION SAY FROM X6 TO X7. THIS IS WHAT I ASKED THEM AND THIS IS WHAT THEY TOLD ME AND IT WORKED ,,, JUST INCASE ANYONE ELSE OUT THERE IS TRYING TO HAVE ALL THEIR OLD TOOLS IN THEIER NEW VERSION OF MASTERCAM

 

 

Several ways to do it. I usually just start Mastercam, no file loaded, load a mill machine def. Go into toolpaths, tool manager, screen view, MCX at top, Select library to convert at the bottom. Select all and drag all tools from library below into the MCX above. Then below switch to a new library (create a new file name), drag from above to the new file below.
