No visuals upon starting Mastercam

Just throwing this out there to see if anybody else is having the same problem. My work just gave me a hand me down computer from our offices that has windows 7 in so I could download Mastercam X7 and use it instead of the previous X5 I had been using. I downloaded it and updated my tool files, machine posts, and part files from X5. When I start up Mastercam it does not show anything in the Grid. It will show in the lower corner I am drawing a line or arc etc... but I cannot see anything. But if I open a File that I did on X5 but has been updated then X7 works fine. I can even close out of Mastercam and open it again it is fine after that. I do recall X7 working fine before I updated my files because I was personalizing my background colors and everything.
