Could someone take a look at this file and see if they can find these invisible entities. open level manager...

I cannot find them in unblank or unhide.

    0 Points             0 Surfaces           1 Copious Data

    0 Lines              0 Dimensions

I'd say you have a corrupt file.

Associative entity are "database" (not geometric) entities and should not be showing up in the Levels list counts.
These specific associative entities are "File" references to the (does not exist) ->
C:\Users\Remote\Desktop\-11\1st_op.stl

An entity (the Note/Label entity here which is marked as "blanked") should not be on Level #0
That we cannot see it may be that there is a Note with no Text?

0x800    < Copious data
0x4000  < Associative entity

Thank you very very much....that explains all the weirdness with some of the toolpaths I have been experiencing...

Those alone should not really cause "other"

Well I didn't catch on to the path to the wrong STL. Too much other stuff was going on.

What I kept getting was error messages that the STL didn't exist...ops going dirty that used an STL, the wrong STL being crunched in the tool path and the wrong STL being pulled up in Verify.

It all makes since now.

Then all the weirdness stopped and I was only getting an error the STL didn't exist. That must have been when I moved the working folder off my desktop.

All I know is that certain tool paths wouldn't work right in this particular file and they worked perfectly in a brand new file using the same geometry and same settings.

This file was made from a previous install that I crashed somehow.

I was just on a mission to find out why this file didn't work.

thanks for your help.
