Fadal - Programming feedrates over 275

Hey there,

 

Our fadals max program feedrates are 250 ipm, but with the feed override knob it will go up to 375. We can put F375, but the machine will still only go 250 ipm, and then you can override the feed. I'm looking for system parameter or something we can do to be able to program at F375 and then disable the feedrate pot (I know how to do the pot part .. we just want the operators to not throttle down some operators)

Check in the graphics portion and see if there is a dry run option. I believe it goes 300 ipm. As soon as I'm over by my 6030 I'll look and make sure that is were it is at. If not I'll let you know where I found it.

Tyler just checked, you can get 300 ipm out of it for your rapid moves and 75 ipm on G1 - G3.  If you have more G1's than G2 or G3's you could swap the rapid moves for the latter and see if that gets you were you want to be.

hey thanks for checking man - I wonder if the machine is expecting load in the same way on a G1

If you go to the program edit page you can toggle to the dry run option using the space bar. forgot to put that in earlier.
