Face Grooving - Offset Comp Side

Is there a way to force the side of the insert the tool is compensating from? I just posted out a face groove program and it is compensating from the ID side instead of the assumed OD side. It changed when I changed the tool to a Left-Hand tool. But I want to force it to use the OD side as if it were a right hand tool because that is the easiest side to touch off of.

Thanks!

Typcially what I do is save the tool geometry to a level, move it and redefine it with the touch off edge on the other side and save it as a custom tool so that I now have 1 that I can use in either configuration
