Xform Project to solid curved 3-D surface

Is anyone else having the issue with projecting a rect port or circle onto a solid curved surface in mastercam?

 

 

Here's the fun part... when you first use that feature we project to surface and use the surface selection option and it works the first time.  After that, mastercam doesn't want to project anything  else and we end up having to close mastercam completely and re-load for every time we need to use that feature and there was once 8 different sized rectangle ports so we opened and closed mastercam 8 times... haha...

 

I am thinking this is a bug?

Yes known bug for the last few releases !
