HELP! Z axis problem

Recommended Posts

Hi All i'm new to MasterCAM and i created a piece in AutoCAD (a lot of stuffing around), but i brought into MasterCAM and set out all the tool paths and everything, and generated the g code, but...

The problem it that i have the Z axis starts at 30mm instead of 0 in the Gcode and this is screwing up my CNC because it isn't built to lift up by 30mm on the Z axis., and the only way i can imagine to make it work is by going through the g code and changing every "30" value to 0 and every "29" Value to -1 and so on, how can i fix thins pre Gcode in MasterCAM.

and secondly i am milling tapered holes two main ones of different sizes and one of the holes will not mill all the way through on the simulated mill, which i also don't know how to fix, i am getting a little frustrated, and all the help i can get would be greatly appreciated

Regards Symon

Ps the file i am using is attached below

carby plate 1.mcx-8
