2017 defaults

I've changed many of the configuration defaults to my own default configuration, but every time I open 2017, the defaults go back to the Mastercam defaults. For example, I changed the post processing default to overwrite and edit off, but it reverts back.

 

What am I missing? I've done this before in my older version of MC and it always worked.

For the one you specifically mention.....that needs to be set in the control definition for the machine...

 

There is a default in the configuration file however, the control def setting override the configuration default

 

Load your machine def into Mastercam >> The on the Machine Ribbon bar >> Click on Control Definition

 

 

Once in the control def click on Files >> Mill >> then the post processing button, once in that dialog you can set the machine.....

 

 

Once it is set the way you want, green check all the way out and then reload your machine def.....the new settings will now be loaded and the change is permanent.
