Mastercam V8.1.1

We're happy to announce the release of Mastercam V8.1.1 for V8.1 Mill, Lathe, Wire, and Design customers. This 'patch' consists of several bug fixes (several of which have been brought to our attention by the users of this forum), and is only available electronically. Are the .DLL files below the patches in addition to the patch?

The Post DLL updates are not included in the main V8.1.1 patch files.

The lath link to the FTP is not working.

so you can not down load the file at this time.

Sorry about the link to the Lathe patch. As soon as our 'Web' guy comes in this morning we'll fix it. It's simply missing an 'e' at the end (you'll notice it links to a ".EX" file, instead of an ".EXE" file) - just add that manually in your browser.

I get a message that says "old file does not exist" when I double click on the design patch (which I saved to mcam8 directory. Am I doing something wrong?

You have to have the exe in the MC8 folder.Put it in the working directory where you have Mastercam running from and it will work.

I have a file that I have been saving for the patch.

When I un trim certian surfaces,everything locks up and the file is reduced to 0 kb.(I posted about this earlier)

I am happy to say with the mill and design

patches, This no longer happen's!
