  1. I have a pretty straight forward aerospace part with some deep pockets and the stock size is roughly 8X8.5X9.75. This part has .5 corner radius's and a .5 fillet at the bottom. The deepest pocket goes 7.9 deep. Those of you who have cut pockets this deep succesfully, what tooling worked good for this?. This part will be going into a 40 taper 5 axis milling center. There must be some insert tooling out there vesus getting custom endmills made for this. Thanks in advance for any help.
  2. Thanks Matt for the reply. We are using the latest version of Mastercam X2.
  3. I've run into this problem a few times now and wanted to ask if anyone else has come across this. On certain files if you "transform rotate" your geometry, it sometimes leaves a portion of geometry behind. On the rotated part that geometry is now blank. The only way we have found to rotate the geometry properly is to painfully go back to version 9 where it works with no problem. We have two Quadro video cards and 1 gaming card with the latest drivers and they all equally seem to show the same problem. One other thing worth mentioning is our operating systems are Windows 2000, why I am not sure. It's what the boss wants.
