  1. Hi everyone, I was wondering if there was a way to run mastercam on linux. Ubuntu in particular. I know its built for microsoft I'm just wondering if I can make it work in linux or if I need to dual boot. Thank you all for your help.
  2. I have a part I'm making (boss wont let me post the file) and need to run a pocket on the front of it. We are running this part in a 5 axis machine (UMC 750). How do I get the pocket toolpath to work on the front face of the part? I've tried messing with planes (never really learned how to use them although I'm sure they are the answer?) as far as all the simulations go if I set the planes to front it works fine but in the machine not so much. Thank you all in advance.
  3. Thank you. Got it figured out.
  4. Hi everyone, I'm working on a 5 axis part and have to add a chamfer at an odd angle. I was wondering if anyone new of a way to run a swarf toolpath or somethin similar with the bottom of a tool instead of the side of the tool? the part is round and the chamfer is towards the base. Thanks in advance.
