I need to generate a no core path in 4 axis. The part is small but it interlocks either direction. I am getting by for now by cutting a series of small rough cuts using different sections of the geometry, but this is tedious to say the least. Any idea when we will get this feature?

Mainly 2D contouring / pocketing & some surface finishing. Could it possibly be hardware? Its a new HP P4 1.7 mhz, seems to run well otherwise. Note: Activating File/New also disables posting.

Thanks to all for the responses. All other dialogs seem to work well. Posting from the NC Utilities menu works, it just seems to be astep backwards. Any other suggestions?

I'm having trouble posting nc-code out of windows XP (home edition). The post button in the operations manager does not activate the function. It can be made to work temporarily as follows: in CNCregedit, register control the *.ocx files, then reboot the system. This works till you exit Mascam, then it becomes inactive and the process must be repeated. Is there a way to register them permanently?
