For a single monitor and 1920 x 1080 resolution it has to work fine, I don't think that there is any programming app which can create difficulties for this graphic card. If you don't have it, and want to save some money, you can see in this article how to use onboard graphics and video card at the same time, this will save you from buying a new graphic card and waste 600$ in vain, especially if you don't need it for anything else except of programming.

A 1055 ti should be enough I think.
