    Facing

Then after the facing, zero out the rest of my tools from the new surface?

Set up my stock to be even with the F9 origin. Import my 3d file to cut or create a 2d part to cut. Let's say I want to face off the stock .010". How do you all set up your parts to compensate for the .010" facing? 1. I can compensate by increasing my cut depths by .010". 2. I can face the stock then zero out the rest of my tools to the new top of stock. Any other suggestions? Is there an easier way so that you don't have to reset your tools or have to remember to cut the extra .010" deeper on your operations? Thanks in Advance.
  3. Anyone every experience opening X and all the toolbars are moved to the left of the screen. Usually we have them at the top but once in a while we open mastercam and they are all on the side and have to be relocated. Mastercam X MR1/SP2 Thanks
  4. Having a problem with G92 in control def. Went into control def, text and changed the text which has g92 and saved. Went back in and it comes back G92. Will not save when I change. Asked rep and they had same problem with no solution. Anyone else experience this? Only work around I found is to delete it in the post. Using Mastercam X MR1 sp2. Using MPFAN post through cimco editor thanks
  5. Thanks for the help. I followed your suggestion and got it to work. I just had to hack and find where in sys config to go. Thanks
  6. Switching from mastercam V9 to X. In 9 we used a cimco editior to post files to our Haas cnc. For large files my guy was able to drip feed through a cimco editor. Is there a way to drip feed from X? Thanks
