  1. Back to square one. I'm happier with the resolution as it was initially on this 4K monitor, despite both cam software that I use not scaling icons. I don't use the other software much right now but it seems to have responded better to this treatment so far, once I really need it that will either pan out or not. Hopefully Mastercam eventually solves this because I haven't figured it out. I'm surprised that calling tech support for both software did not yield anything close to this solution. Even if they had just said "there is no good solution, you can try this but you won't like it, we'll fix it in the next version", it would have at least been agreeable.
  2. Perhaps I spoke too soon. The same fix that solved my icon size issue has reduced sharpness of the main screen quite a lot. I'm playing with settings but haven't found a true solution yet. This is the better of my two options so far but I hope I can eventually get everything truly fixed.
  3. I can't thank you enough. I've been trying to figure out how to fix this for months. After reading the answer you linked, I went to the source to get the manifest file and the originator of the solution had an updated fix that is much easier. Apparently MS issued an update that allows you to run a shortcut with modified visual settings for apps that don't scale icons properly. Here's the link to that article: https://danantonielli.com/app-scaling-on-high-dpi-displays-fix-2019/ And here's the actual instructions, should anything happen to that link: How it’s done: Right-click the shortcut icon of applications you want to adjust Select ‘Properties’ (If the icon is in the taskbar, you will have to right-click the second app icon) Select the ‘Compatibility‘ tab Select ‘Change high DPI settings‘ at the bottom of the tab Check ‘Override high DPI scaling behavior‘ at the bottom Select ‘System (Enhanced)‘ from the drop down Select ‘OK‘ and then ‘OK‘ again to apply Launch the application to see the difference
  4. I think I've tried everything to enlarge the icons in my toolpath tab, from settings and configurations menus in the program to changing windows display settings, and nothing has successfully changed the scale of folder icons. It's effectively impossible to select several operations. My desktop is 3840x2160 and I have text set to 200% now (150% is default). I'm using 2021.
