  10. I am trying to drill aprox. 40 holes of sevral different sizes in cyldrical tube parts. I have 60 parts all very different. I got solids from the customer after I drew a few and tested the solid drill, all worked like a dream. Now I have two big probs!! First off half of the time Mcam says the solid has no holes. Is there some hole tollerance setting that Im missing? Second ,and most irritating, anytime I have holes 180deg apart it trys to drill both from one side. When I tryed to extrude a boss to close the hole in the center of the tube once again it says the solid has No Holes Detected. I fear I am in deep POO Please help! Zippy
  11. CMS went under and had alot of Moris. They had an add in one of magizines not to long ago.
  12. It depends on what type of cut ie; slot or profile, and the cutter/machine como plays an important role in chosing depth of cut and raidial cut. My rule of thumb for A2 D2 and whaten is 50%-75% of dia when sloting and 150% and up when profiling. It depends on what you can get away with. I fing it is always better to go deeper when you can so you wear out the whole end mill and not just the end. Just my .02 Aaron
  13. Im with the above, if you want to get it done fast, contor and deal with the sulgs. On the other hand I find that I have more importent things to do, you know...
