  1. I open Mastercam Mill v9.1 from a shortcut on my desktop. When I load the tutor disc, it opens and has all the chapters listed with some excersises to go with each chapter. It's when I try to open an excersise that I am having my problem. It asks me if I want to save to file or open from current location. Either way it comes up with the error message.
  2. I am unable to open any files on the student excersise disc that I got at Volume 2 training. I get a message reading error opening mill9. txt.. Can anyone suggest something?
  3. I used 3d chamfer and it generated a toolpath, but it is still not shifting in Y. My deburr path is not on center.
  4. I have a .83 diameter bar in a 4th axis holder. I'm cutting flats on both sides with a bullnose endmill leaving a .25 radius in the corner. The thickness of the center web is .2, so the flats are .315 deep from both sides. I want to deburr the part in the mill, so I envisioned deburring the part in two steps. First to deburr the end while it's at 0 and 180 degrees, then turn the part to 90 degrees, offset the part .1 in the Y direction, then cut along the length in the X direction. When I get to the radius the part will turn in the A direction 180 degrees while the mill table moves .2 in the Y direction. The part cannot be on the centerline, because of the Y direction move. Does all that help?
  5. I'm cutting flats on a bar, leaving a .25 fillet in the corner and want to deburr the edges with a chamfer mill while still in the 4th axis rot holder. I need help. What's the best kind of toolpath for this? I'm new with the fourth axis and would appreciatd some help. I would like to hold the part at 90 degrees offset in the Y direction-cut along the X direction-rotate thru A while shifting off center in Y, then back down the part in the X direction to finish.
