  1. Hello, WHen i'm selecting Control compensation for a specific operation, the toolpath that's created is no good. I wan't to make a bigger radius inside of a hole using a T Shaped tool. Here is the shape of the part i'm making. And the tool path created with Control compensation : The parameters i use : When i'm choosing computer compensation, the tool path is okay. Does any one know what causes this problem ? i want to make it work with control compensation so i can edit the tool wear on my machine. Thank you, Francesko
  2. Thanks for your reply. Parameters are indeed a difficult subject. I was experimenting with formulas to make them work but i couldn't. The thing is that i want to use a data i've entered and stored using UXD-1 (datafield), and use that UXD-1 value to generate other numbers that are simply calculated. For example : CASE 2 : = ('UXD-1' +0,5)/4 This would allow me to automatise a lot of writing by just inputing one or two initial values... I thought this was an official forum lol. I'm going to post there and tell you if i find something. Who is Ruth ? And what's the e-mail ? Francesko
  3. So, i've tested with generating the full data .xml file but i couldn't find my value '115' on there. I guess it's impossible to have this value. At least for the moment. Thank you
  4. Hello everyone, Today i have a new challenge for myself and can't seem to find any informations online, on documentations or tutorials. I'm trying to use formulas to calculated values based on manually written numbers. Let's say i want do to : X + 1 = ... Where X is a parameter (number) i've inserted before printing my setupsheets. I'm trying to use a calculated box on my ActiveReport sheets. Which is in the next picture in green. Which is linked to this : Which refers to the datafield TEST who contains the formula : And when printing the setupsheets, i get this error : Does any one know how to properly write formulas ? Is it better to use a script for this ? Thanky you, Francesko
  5. Hi David, Thank you for your response. I was Looking to generate the full .Xml file of my part to verify which tag would correspond to what i'm searching but i didn't know how to have it. You just gave me the possibility to do it, so thank you ! I'll try it and see if i'm able to find my informations. BRB Francesko
  6. Hello, I've started messing up with ActiveReport Designer to have a "better" setup for my work environnement. What i'm trying to get in my ActiveReport is the value of the part Stickout, like in this example the value is 115.0 mm : Is it possible to have this lenght automatically printed on my reports ? If yes, what would be the DataType i should use ? Thank you in advance and sorry for my bad English. Francesko
