For the Beta period there's some licensing hoops to make it available. If you want to test it, please reach out and we'll get you sorted to use it during the Beta cycle. Dan Parry, the product owner, posted about it in the official forums- you can contact him through [email protected]

  3. Heavier finish passes.  You don't want thin chips.  Like Ron said, no dull tools.  Don't leave machine unattended.  Make sure you're not piling up chips inside the machine to mitigate issues should a fire start.  Water based coolant seems to oxidize the xxxx out of it.  Keep that in mind.  Preferrable to run straight oil.  If this is a machine that you run water based coolant in you'll destroy the coolant pretty quickly as the magnesium causes the hardness to skyrocket and the emulsifiers decide to go home (coolant splits.)  Other than that can't think of much.  I've machined a fair bit of it without issue.

Since I have always used a Stock model as my first operation in Mill i didn't notcie a difference when doing this in 2024. Guess it is about time the software caught up to what I was already doing. 😁

ah maybe this is what I was experiencing as I did the same.

I've not used an ATi card for 8 years. That said, in my experience they worked, sure but that always had shortcomings. Has it changed? Don't know...I'd be leery if I got a new system with one...

    ATI hasn't existed since 2006...

That sounds almost preposterous, as all top end workstations are Xeon only,

But on  the initial subject, today I found out about the multithreading manager settings, and that appears to be where most of my bottleneck was.

Mastercam by default was only using 4 threads

He's not wrong.  Mastercam benefits from speed (frequency) of the processor not core/thread count.

I got this to work on one part on all but one of the holes gave me an error, on another part it worked on all but 3 holes and gave an error. On both parts it worked on all the bottom thru holes the errors were given on the top counterbores.

In the cases it does not work try using push-pull to extend the hole (if blind) out of the part and then delete the now boss feature.
