I'll have to check the hardware on the Thinkpad tonight and I'll let you know the system specs. I recommended we put the software on a workstation, but was unsuccessful in that endeavor. The problem I have is that the directional arrows and the snap to a point graphics worked fine for a month or so before failing to appear. The program became unresponsive so I had to close it all down, save the part program and reboot the system. This is when the glitch manifested itself.

I'll give that a shot, I work 2nd shift and will be looking at it tonight. Thanks for your help, it's sort of daunting to learn new software with limited training.

We just bought a Romeo Engineering waterjet and received the Mastercam Router software to use with the new machine. Mastercam was installed on an IBM ThinkPad notebook per the request of one of the operators. Last week while working on a part program the trim function became inoperative so we closed all programs and rebooted. On restart of Mastercam I noticed the directional arrows on the selected contour did not appear properly, they blink and disappear. I also noticed that the snap to a point square and crosshair blink and fail to appear now as well. (Be nice I'm a noob) I can see the directional arrows when I do the dynamic pan function but not when I view from the top. Can anyone give me a clue as I am at a loss for how to fix the issue.
