  1. I'm not getting any changes on my feedrate when I post it either. I can see it trying to speed up in the backplot and also on my machine.
  2. The machine is acting the same as the backplot. It's trying to speed up to full speed and then slow down at the end of each spline. The file is on the ftp site here under jittery...anyone is welcome to see what I'm talking about. It should be going smoothly and steady around the top of this ring. As far as training is concern, I have been to one of the training classes. We traveled 4 and a half hours there and we spent 3 hours in class because the teacher was sick and wanted to go home. Didn't get much out of it so I want to make sure that when I invest my time again it will be worth it. I want to be able to get some one-on-one. That is why I'm on here and that is why I hired a guy to work with me that knows MasterCam very well. We have been going back and forth now for about 6 months. He is also stuck on this and is not sure why it's happening. That is my two cents for the day. I would be willing to travel for training as long as it will be worth my time.
  3. I'm working with a rep. from MasterCam and he is stuck too.....no offense taken...just stuck...
  4. Never mind...I change some of my allocations and it seemed to fixed these problems...now I changed it and I don't seem to see any difference. Is there a way to join all of the splines and make it a smooth and continuous line??
  5. I tried changing the filter like you said and I get several messages. First one says that Cutter Compensation not successful. Second one says, want to change the color of the last proceeded surface, and I put no, but yes also gives me the same answer. Then the last one says, ERROR - Error regenerating Operation! Surface Rough Project.....an comment on how to eliminate these. Thanks.
  6. Nope that is unclicked...I think it might be having trouble calculating on a ramp but I'm not sure....
  7. I still can't get this to work. It seems to me that the machine having a hard time calculating the ramp for my tapered ring. The backplot shows it going very slow and in turn this is making my machine try to go to top feedrate then back to almost zero.....not sure!!
  8. The thing I don't understand is that it's backplotting the same way. That is why I think it's in MC and not my machine. It seems to me like it's reading separate splines along the arc and stopping at each one. If you do an analyze on it, you will see that it's one entity. I need the backplot to come out right first. VamVany mentioned something about filters. Do you think that would help??
  9. It does exactly as it backplots. It tries to go fast, but it slows down and then speeds up. I want a steady feed rate around the ring. Right now it studders along.
  10. I need to have the machine to move continuously and not slow down and then speed up. I want it to move along at a constant speed.
  11. I did try this on my part on the machine and it has marking on my part. If you slow down the speed when you verify it, you will see that it slows down in the beginnning. This slowing down makes my machine try to speed up and slow down all around my part. I think I need to join all my arcs around my circle, but I'm not sure.
  12. I did try this on my machine and I'm getting the stopping and starting effect. I tried to have it follow the projected path of the operation above it. Didn't work, so now I'm trying anything that will work. Barb
  13. Okay the file is there under jittering. When you verify this file, verify operation #4 only and do this at the lowest speed possible. You will see how slow it goes.....
  14. Okay...I have changed all of the allocation. This still doesn't change my jittering on my toolpath. I have a taper ring that I'm trying to toolpah. I've tried every type of toolpath, but it still jitters. HELP!!!
