  5. Right now all of my posts have extension of .nc. I want to have it with no extensions Hass does not like that example O7185.nc. So what I have been doing is going into C: prompt and renaming the files in there and resaving them** Pain in the arse**. Where can I change this, in the post itself?? Any info would be appreciated thanks Reg
  6. I have drawn a gear cutter profile and saved it in mcam9milltools directory. I made sure I followed the guidlines of keeping the geometry to 1 inch for scaling purposes I believe. I can verify that gearcutter.mc9 is in the correct dirctory. When I go to select my cutter to do my contouring, I can not find that gearcutter in the tools manager. If I click on "creat a new tool" I am unable to draw the proper geometry that is need to simulate the actual cutter.. Any info would greatly be appreciated..Thanks Reg
  7. Keith, it looks ok except for a few things. I don't need any of the m40's at all the first line of info N10 G0 x0.0 z50 is not needed ect. The mo3 and mo8 are there but no g96. The threading looks good though..Thanks for you help so far. I just want a post that I do not have to edit..Reg
  8. I have not been able to find the proper post for this lathe yet. Things like m13 are not needed and m3 and mo8 and m09 are needed. Also the can cycle for threading are not right no q needed. Also the g97 and g96 are not in the right place. I have used mpfan.pst. I am sure someon in this forum would have a post for this exact machine..Thanks Reg
  9. Smit that seemed to worked thanks a bunch....Reg
  10. Running a older mats milling machine when it gets a g54 in the g code it always gives up a error. There can be no g54 in the code. I was pointed in the direction of changing the g code, mi1 - Work coordinate system # 0 = Reference return is generated and G92 with the # X, Y and Z home positions at file head. # 1 = Reference return is generated and G92 with the # X, Y and Z home positions at each tool. # 2 = WCS of G54, G55.... based on Mastercam settings The orginal settings in MPfan were set at #2 so I changed that to 0-1 and still get the g54 in the g code. Can anyone help me out with this would be appreciated. Thanks Reg
