I got my post by simply copying of the *.pst file from directory POSTS of MasterCam version 9.1. This post is the special one for KOMO Router Machine we use.I guess I need to contact my reseller to obtain updated postprocessor for version X?
Hi, everybody,
I try to use MasterCAM Router X after Version 9.1
and met following problem. Post processor for KOMO(MPKOMO-F.pst) gives canned cycle row as G98 G81 Z0. R0. F... . All jobs setting are correct, i.e. retract height is set as 4 mm absolute and the simulation shows correct Z-coordinate. The same post processor performs correct G-code at version 9.1(G98 G81 Z0. R4. F... ) Maybe, there is any flag or check I missed?
Additional questions: I usually use 2.5mm straight bit milling tool to drill holes at some parts. V9.1 has no any negatives with it, but X thinks it's not correct to use milling tools at drill operations. Actually, it shows this at backplot. Does anybody know to fix?
What kind of router do you use? I work with KOMO.
Actually, for contour cut I usually use 6mm 1 flute solid carbide strait cutter at 18000 rpm and 2000 mm/min. About cooling: of course, use air! Also use depth cuts, it may be good
