  1. Cap your offsets BEFORE the crash using the strategy below:

    IF[ABS[#2430]GE[.0005]]GO800 (MAX/MIN CAP OF .0005 FOR RAD OFFSET 30)

    (YOUR NC CODE HERE)

    (END OF NC PROGRAM)

    GO999

    (******* ALARM ****** )

    N800#3006=1(OFFSET OVER OR UNDER CAP)

  2. update 1 for SP1 fixes the backplot time issue.

    I got this email last month;

    To All Mastercam X SP1 users...

    We have just released a patch to update Mastercam X SP1. It will only work on Mastercam X SP1 (Not on the original Mastercam X or on the MR1 Beta which already contains these fixes.)

    This release will fix a number of issues in SP1 and is available to all users, including those not on Maintenance. The patch is available via the update manager, which can be accessed from either Help -> Update Mastercam or from the Programs Menu -> Mastercam X -> Update Manager.

  3. MCX is making NCI file names difficult to control. I talked to my dealer about this issue. To change NCI file names; within the operations manager, go to the top and expand the Machine Group. Then choose properties, files, toolpath name. Change the name and save. The only way to have mutipal file names is to open a new Machine Group.....How BOGUS!
