  1. Thanks DavidB. However i can use that to get the objects on a new layer, but if i look isometric it is not flat and i get an error that it is not parallel to my c-plane. I am realtivly new to this and just trying to learn the best but most effecient method. Thanks
  2. I have opened up a SolidWorks model rotated and moved it to the correct origin, now i want to take some windows and create 2d geometry from for the boundries of my tool path and put this on a new level. How do i do this. I can do it for points for holes but 3d stuff i have no clue. Thanks
  3. Hey guys great forum. Lots of good info. I really need some help. I am trying to learn Lathe 9 SPI. Is there anywhere in Ventura County that i can go to learn this(affortable)? Is there any good books(tutorials, examples, demo cd's)? The company i work for has there own cd's but i would like to load this at home so i can at least learn. I have already tried to get some knowledge from the poeple here at work but they all think i want to steal there job (rather get the knowledge and move on). I have a solid backround in with cad softwares. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
