Could any one out there help me with this? I am posting to a wire mach. The post puts out 5 places and I would like to make it to 4.
I tried to do this thru control def and it did not work.
Thanks......
I was wondering if anyone out there could suggest some good links with info on hardmilling. We are trying to get more into hardmilling and a couple of the people in my shop are terrified of it. They keep trying to convince the others in the tool room that it is inefficient and a waste. They are very Oldschool. I have done some hardmilling myself, but would like to study up on the subject.
Thanks
Where does it need to be input?
I dont see a reference to arcs.

I am running an older Hurco BMC20 and having issues with syntax errors in machine. The program is using the arc filter and posting arcs in XZ and YZ.
EX. G19 G3 Y5.3904 Z.1207 I0. J5.3904 K.1
N0260 G3 Y5.3899 J5.3904 K.1
N0270 G18 G2 X-5.3761 Z.1555 I-5.3761 J0. K-.0828
If I manually delete the I0. and J0. the err goes away. The control does not want to see these zero values.
Any suggestions???
Thanks
I generally burn w/ 3 passes.
The ruf cut cond is the only one that changes.
Pass 1 = C612 for 1" or C614 for 2"
Pass # 2-3 are the same cond no matter the material thickness. All data must be in the program.
I am new to wire and was wandering if guys could set me in the right direction.
How Should I set up my power library.
I run a Sodick A280L. Do I need to have a PL for each material thickness?
One mill I use adds it.
I have expertdnc, It does not show ; there.
I have a Sodick control that we program manually or do alot of editing. It must have " at the start and end of each line and must have eob; as well or the program will not load into the machine properly.
YES you are correct sir.
Thanks -found it down the line a bit. Worked great.
How about this.
How do you get the eol ; to stay on the program.
And is there a way to put " at the start and end of every line.
