I figured out what the problem was. I feel dumb now.
I was running Mastercam X MR2. I thought it was X2, so I installed X2 this morning, and it is working great now.
Thanks for all the help.
I just tried this again, and it says that either the file was created in a newer version of mastercam than I am running, or mastercam does not recognize this file type. It is a .SFB file
I have recently upgraded to SolidWorks 2007, and I am not unable to open SoildWorks files in Mastercam. I have X2 installed. I was able to open SoildWorks files when I had SW 2006, and Mastercam X.
I have downloaded the mastercam direct, and tried it, but it still will not work.
When I try to open a SW file in MCX, it says there is no parasolid data available.
Thank you for your help,
Kirk Pedley
I am trying to use the mastercam direct add-in, and it saves the file out as a.SFB file. I then go to Mastercam to open the file, and it says it cannot recognize the file. I have SolidWorks 2006, & Mastercam X
I have SolidWorks 2006, and have the Mastercam Direct add-in. Now when I save as a .SFB file my Mastercam will not open this. is Mastercam Solids required for this?
I am trying to send my program to my machine and cannot figure out how to do this. I can post just fine, and save the file, but I cannot find where to send the .NC file to the machine?
