  1. Tried that, it isn't a true mirror. Part seems to be mirrored in two axis.(no its not the wrong part) Even if I mirror it twice it still isnt right. I really don't like having to redraw parts this complicated.
  2. I imported a file from mech desktop and after about twenty minutes of I figured out why the part file didn't match the print. I opened the part in mech desktop and the model is correct. This is the second time that I have come across this, so its not a very common occurance. Has anyone else experenced this, is there a sipmle fix? Thanks in advance.
  3. X looks like a great setup. I am a farily new mc user so I have a lot to learn anyway. Looking forward to having time to check it out.
  4. I do have x. Just haven't had time to learn how to use it. Thanks for the info.
  5. Both have no change. I went home and did the same thing and it worked correctly so I am going to start over when I get in tommorow, thanks for your input
  6. I can only convert one autocad file per mc start up. If I try to conv a second file mc alarms out and shuts down. When I open mc again Ican conv a file no problem. I am opening them as trimmed surfs. Doesn't happen converting anyother type of files. This is in mc9. Any help. Thanks in advance
  7. I am trying to thread mill some 1/4-18 npt holes with a single point tool(no time to get a tapered tool). Taper seems to be going the wrong direction (smaller on top). Tried to change taper angle, used 1.7889 -1.7889 181.7889 178.2111 with no change. I am going to lose it if I can't figure this out (sorry 16hrs at work can make people crazy). Can anybody help
