  1. Can anyone recommend a high-quality large format plotter with drivers that interface well with X4? I'll be using the device to generate large (36" x 120") drawings on mylar material. This is aerospace work and mylars are very common. I'll need to be able to hold +/- .015" over the 120" distance. Any suggestions? Thanks for any input you guys may have. Jim
  2. We've programmed w/j's for about 12 years and modified our post so it slowed down in corners. The prorgammer gets a question when he posts the file and it asks for the thickness of material. The corner feedrate reduction is based on material thickness. We cut up to 5" thk plate on occassion but typically stay in the 1-3" range.
  3. Does anybody have an idea how to get rid of this error message "invalid sim found - error code 2"? CNC software sent some things I could "try" but none of them worked. I've got four 4 sims and programming stations in my dept and only one computer is giving me trouble. Funny thing is, it's a brand new Dell. The older computers that have had mulitple versions of mcam installed at various times are working fine with X3. Any idea guys? Thanks!
