Does cimco hsm operate in mastercam x2 or will we need an upgrade.

how do we change levels of multiple entities at the same time?

I am trying to install cimco hsm with mr1 already installed but it tells me a copy of this has already been installed.How can i reinstall making sure installation of hsm works with v9 and mastercam x mr1.Right now hsm is installed but i can find no c-hook in mastercam x to run it, v9 works fine with it.

more info i have gathered,it is a 5 axis moore jig grinder with Tnc-530-nc 422 heidenhan control

I have come up with a challenge of programming a cnc jig grinder with a hiedenhan control,problem is i have never worked with a jig grinder and I need some starter points as far as programming go's. will mastercam mill do the job or is there special add ons for this? is it as simple as chaining the contour to be cut and applying the number of passes needed. What does my post have to be able to do for a jig grinder is it similar to a cnc mill? I do have assistance from the guy running this machine but he right now is running this machine manually and i am looking for a cnc point of view,any help will be greatly appreciated. thanks

does anyone know a way of simplifiing probe programming on a toshiba vertical cnc,i guess what i am looking for is a cam add-on or stand alone software to program the probe.

my cimco edit has stopped working from within mastercam error generated is "mastercam hasp not found" the editor still works but when i select it as default editor from within mastercam it wont work.strange thing is it happened on 2 computer at the same time same day both are running windows 2000 ! :? all seems to have happened after i installed cimco hsm,i have tried reinstalling cimco edit still no luck my windows xp machine is working fine thanks

does anyone know how to import tools from an existing job and use those tools for new job created in prodrill.for some reason if i import tools before i start then run prodrill chook when i create the operations it deletes all present tools and only uses new tools from the library specified in prodrill parameters. thanks RAJ

i have uploaded cimco crash.zip on the ftp site please can someone see why my machine is crashing on rapid move verify looks fine eventually i changed to full retract but i want to know why min retract and shortest path are crashing. thanks

ok i finally have prodrill installed on my machine with catia v5 translator ,the question i have is where do i find step by step instructions on how to process features imported,do i still have to go thru the find features tab.instructions on the solidworks way is very clear but the catia instructions are very limited. also is there a certain way the catia file has to have the holes created or exported. thanks in advance
